As part of our sustainable practices, we are researching and formulating natural, plant-based pesticides using a combination of locally available herbs and wild desert plants known for their pest-repellent properties.

What We’re Using

Our natural pesticide formulation draws on the traditional knowledge of indigenous communities, combined with modern organic farming principles. The ingredients include:

Neem (Azadirachta indica): A powerful bio-insecticide known to repel over 200 species of pests.

Tumba (Citrullus colocynthis): A desert melon with strong insecticidal and antifungal properties.

Datura (Datura stramonium): Contains natural alkaloids effective against leaf-eating insects.

Ankda (Calotropis gigantea): Traditionally used to control aphids and mealybugs.

Beel (Aegle marmelos): Has antimicrobial and pest-repelling attributes.

Roida (Tecomella undulata): A native tree believed to deter leaf borers

Congress Grass (Parthenium hysterophorus): Often considered a weed, but when processed carefully, it has antifungal and insect-repelling effects.

These ingredients are locally sourced, either from our own farm or surrounding wildlands, making our solution low-cost, scalable, and sustainable.
